Frank and Michelle Cacciavillani started That Personal Touch Catering and The Franciscan Event Center in 1981. They have now been married for over 45 years! Frank has been working in the food industry most of his life beginning in his hometown of Assisi, Italy. He gained culinary experience while traveling through Europe spending time in France, Germany, and England. After moving to the United States, he worked as a general manager for 20 years in Colorado Country Clubs.
Frank and Michelle started their catering business in the basement of their home. They both waited tables in their spare time using their earned tips to purchase food to serve their catering customers. The word about this new catering service quickly spread. That Personal Touch Catering developed a reputation for quality and consistency that was unmatched in Centennial and the Denver area. They soon purchased The Franciscan Event Center, where That Personal Touch Catering is based, so they could also host meetings, events, and weddings.
Working with Frank and Michelle is award winning Chef Susan Trujillo who has been with the company for over 16 years. Chef Susan has a Restaurant Arts Degree (student of the year in 1992) as well as a Culinary Degree (highest grade in the class of 1995.) She boasts three culinary competition awards including a silver medal for her original main entrée creation, a gold medal for her dessert creation, and during a food show competition sponsored by Philadelphia Cream Cheese, she was first place winner for her Gravlox Mousse.
Our event coordinator is Sonja Frank. She has extensive knowledge planning menus and events in the Centennial and Denver metro areas and has been working for That Personal Touch Catering for over 10 years. Her impressive catering experience makes her a valuable resource to you whether you are planning a wedding, meeting, seminar, or special event.
